Dear Chamber Members and Visitors,
Welcome to the website of the Haralson County Chamber of Commerce. On behalf of the staff and board of directors, thank you for your interest in our county. Haralson County boasts a quality of life unsurpassed in our region. We enjoy a sense of community born out of a rural heritage that exemplifies the best America offers.
There are about 40 manufacturing companies today in Haralson County. Approximately eleven thousand jobs exist within the boundaries of the county. Manufacturing, service business, agribusiness and small business, which is 92% of all jobs in Haralson County, create the real jobs. The people who work in these jobs are the true heroes in the county. The wealth created by these businesses is what funds our communities, our governments, our charities, and most importantly our families.
We are very grateful to be citizens of the greatest nation in the world. As business people, as entrepreneurs, we operate on faith and hard work- faith in an idea, a concept, a community, or a staff and yes, in a God that provides.
The Haralson County Chamber of Commerce has changed and grown in the twenty-one years since it was founded. Currently there are 370 members and growing. Our goal for this year’s membership is 500 members. In spite of these difficult economic times, more people are realizing the value of their chamber membership. Not only do we work diligently to support business, we are also key team players in creating a community with vision for the future. Team Haralson allows a citizen to use their talents and gifts to impact this community.
The chamber offers exciting opportunities for networking, learning best business practices and to gain exposure for your business. These are three essential keys to business success. In addition, we have nine teams at the chamber, all with plans to strengthen business and our community. A special feature of this year is the upcoming Harlalson County Women’s Business Alliance, an initiative designed to focus on the unique needs of women in business.
